Therefore, IO develops and delivers numerous projects across the province that create jobs, and support communities through the construction of healthcare centres, transportation systems, and public buildings.Celebrating over a decade of de- livery, IO has completed more than $16 billion in infrastructure projects since its inception. With the province’s plan to invest more than $137 billion into in- frastructure in the next ten years, IO’s robust structure for project execution should provide stability to Ontario’s local communities. IO was the creator of the AFP model, an innovative way of nancing and procuring large, com- plex public infrastructure projects.
