Because of this complexity, we must take particular care in managing our supply chain to ensure we meet our customers’ expectations. In 2014, our procurement managers conducted a total of 73 spot-checks and 20 internal audits worldwide, to ensure suppliers’ compliance with Bombardier’s own standards.Another way to raise the bar in terms of quality is through innovation. With 33 aircraft programs launched in a quarter of a century, Bombardier’saerospace business segments have demonstrated that they can create new products integrating the latest tech- nologies, while working to improve existing products that have a proven track record.
