LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
In terms of future plans, Quick-
mill will continue to push ahead of the
competition because of their innova-
tive solutions-oriented approach: “we
bring our customers new solutions
every year,” tells Buchholz. This means
that the company is also very hands-
on, and often works direct with their
customers to develop a new solution
for the ever evolv-
ing market place.
We are cur-
rently working
on new models of
machines, as well
as new time sav-
ing features which
will help to im-
prove our custom-
ers’ productivity,”
he says, adding
that although the
international markets for Quickmill
machines have expanded, the com-
pany will never lose sight of its North
American customer base.
The company sees 30-40 per cent
of its business come from repeat ma-
chine sales to existing customers, all
around the world. And customer ser-
vice remains a priority for Quickmill
moving forward. “As our existing
customers’ machines and components
age (15-20+ years old) we offer retro-
fits and upgrades to the electrical and
mechanical components to ensure they
keep running for as long as possible.”
Buchholz
adds “our goal
is to keep grow-
ing ‘gently’ and
to stay rooted.”
With innovation
at the forefront
of their enter-
prise, and the
right team to cre-
ate solutions that
work for each
customer, Quick-
mill will be reinventing the machine
manufacturing business for many
years to come.
We have full time staff that looks
after the international market: the
Middle East, South America, and
more. These key sectors: oil and
gas and power generation, they are
growing and other countries need
our machines.”
