are demanding safety tickets even before a worker arrives
onsite,” Warren explains.
Matrix has stayed ahead of the curve when it comes to
safety, and this is why Matrix clients are generally long-term
clients. The company has shown a staunch commitment to its
labour force and its clients’ projects.
THE FUTURE
The company celebrated yet another milestone in June, mov-
ing into a brand new office space to accommodate the com-
pany’s growth. “The most important thing to note is that
we have grown appropriately,” Warren notes. “Every year
we have built on our model but have operated in a way that
doesn’t overextend the business. This way, we were able to
keep our doors open through the recession,” he explains.
We have paid cash for everything we re-invest into the busi-
ness. We don’t finance anything—and I believe that has con-
tributed to our ability to protect our business and sustain the
growth we’ve had.”
The company is currently putting effort into extensive mar-
keting. “We are growing and finding new ideas to streamline
the business, and want to make sure Matrix always has a
competitive edge. We will be doing add-ons to our website
including a resume builder, a monthly newsletter has already
been available since October 2012 and will use social media
more” he continues.
And of course, the best way to keep the business growing
is to tap in to Canada’s ever-expanding construction sector,
as the energy industry grows. Warren is committed to those
bigger, longer-terms commercial projects,” and with the
very best tradesmen behind the business, it is undeniable
that Matrix crews will be in demand for many years to come.
