GROWTH
Friesen’s approach to growth is
simple: keep the company customer
driven. TAK has grown at the pace
demanded by customers. Friesen notes
that the company intends to expand
wherever their customers take them.

if I had a TAK in every city I operate
in, I would be a happy customer.’ That
drove us to expand to where this par-

is a play on words but a reality: our
2020
vision is to open branches in ten
cities,” Friesen says. This month, the
company is scheduled to open a Cal-
gary warehouse.
And success continues for TAK.
The key thing for Friesen is the ability
to lead a team and keep the company
self-aware.

business, and he says that the com-

self-development. “As a management
team, my son and I are constantly tak-
ing courses on growth and develop-
ment, and going outside our comfort
