Along with a committed supply chain, Vale is working towards contin- ued excellence in community building.Just one of Vale’s efforts in the community is Mining Matters, a pro-gram designed to inspire youth to bring knowledge and awareness about geolo- gy in Canada to students, educators and the public. The organization has been active since 1994 and has reached, ac- cording to sources, an estimated 600,000 teachers, students and members of the public.
